This weeks Idiot of the Week award goes undoubtedly to the man who was on a jury... and tried to friend request the defendant on Facebook!

Jonathan Hudson, who is a 22-year-old pizza delivery guy, was serving jury duty for a case involving an injury caused by a vehicle in Texas...  when he decided that he would just take the liberty of friend requesting the defendant, Courtney Downing, on Facebook!

Not the smartest idea...

As a result, Jonathan was immediately kicked off the jury and charged with contempt of court.

Shortly after, he pled guilty to the charges and was sentenced to just a couple days of community service.

Naturally, this pissed Jonathan off quite a bit, so he decided to send the defendant a message through Facebook, saying:

The stupidity of some people.... Unreal!!
