United States based artist, Jason Mecier has come up with the idea to make portraits of iconic celebrities who have died of drug use... out of drugs!!

Well, he uses pills to create the image.. and from the looks of it, they're legitimate pills (probably vitamins or other types of OTC drugs)...

If that isn't the case then I'm sure the street value of the drugs used in these pieces trumps the value of the art pieces themselves but that's neither here nor there.

So far, he's done Heath Ledger, Michael Jackson, and now most recently, Amy Winehouse.
